So this is my 4th redesign of this website. The first version involved a flat static html page all sliced up in Photoshop. The second design is built similar to previous one, but with more bang: some JavaScript and Flash! The Third, I added a Content Management System based on PHP called CuteNews . It was very cute. Dealing with it and customizing it’s code here and there has definitely showed me the power of PHP and a CMS. Cutenews is simple yet powerful news/blog management system that I would recommend to bloggers and news sites. Well, wait a second! This is about my friend EE, so without further word…here it comes!
For about a year and a half now, I’ve been working as a Web Developer at Looknorth, Inc where I’ve been introduced to working with Expression Engine! Ohhhhh! So, whats so good about Expression Engine? I know I know! Nothing is perfect. This CMS is so flexible that you can mold it to your self-definition of perfection. From creating custom variables, templates, fields, database, categories, ... you name it… Web 2.0 at its finest. I will try to stretch it’s capability.

Woohooo! After waiting for hours and hours in line… NOT… after ordering at the AT&T store… I finally got my Apple IPhone! How exciting! I currently have the Apple Touch and I’ve enjoyed it quite a lot having my music, video, photo library at hand. It’s been my appointment/contact book as well. So I have no excuse to miss an appointment!
The process of getting an Iphone was quite easy, considering the manager at the AT&T store was the one helping me. She even got me a 20% discount! So if you are a “student” make sure you ask for your discount. I swear, whether your a business owner or a student; take advantage of it and go get your discount!
I already downloaded some cool games and apps for my Touch and now it’ll be on my iPhone… woohooo.. You guys have any recommendations?

This was just released this week and It just arrived in my doorsteps. It’s a 16GB device for music, video, internet, appointments, contacts, email and most importantly.. games (and someday applications). Oh boy! It looks shiny and slim…fragile. I’m afraid to break it. Must.. get… Apple Care…
I’m transitioning from my white 80GB iPod and having the Apple Care was worth it since I had it replaced 3x due to hard-drive issues. This time it’s solid-state! no more spinning parts..woohoo!
I’m still disappointed about not being able to enter calendar directly on it. Apple did set itself up. ITunes is a free and cross-platform compatible music/media player. It is largely responsible, in my opinion, for successfully getting the iPod line in most people’s pockets.

Don’t you just hate it when you go to the subway and then you find out that they’re not running today. What about the $.50 cent increase to the fare? $2.00 a ride whoa. It’s not that bad, but I wish it was better.
When they increased the fare to $1.50, I did not see any prominent improvements. Trains are still late and inconsistent. What I saw was the free Metro and AM New York Newspapers that tend to go down as litter to those tracks. They also came out with some newer trains, but you don’t see them everywhere.
They better come out with tracking systems or more announcements, so passengers can find out the next train or any delays that are coming. I hate it when I enter a train and see that the express train (faster for me) arrives as the train, i’m in, closes its doors. It’s so inefficient.
MTA could also reap better profits from an advertisement system. It sucks to see more advertisement, but if it would lower the cost of the fare, I wouldn’t mind. What about a dynamic advertisement?
No one and no thing is perfect… but we gotta try to improve and change for the better. I want to help!
