I just saw the latest 007 movie. I liked it, except I wouldn’t class it as a typical Bond movie. ehh… There were girls, a fast car, lots of action…but where is the technology? Hmm…the Minority Report-like computer? His phone with GPS Tracking…not to mention a camera that can had 50x zoom with face/retinal recognition? Perhaps.
The story is a cross between so many other movies… I would say 007 is similar to Bourne Identity. The scene with the rooftops and Bourne’s hunger for revenge is similar to 007’s scenario. The car/boat chases, women, betrayals… they’re all the same…might even be predictable of all bond movies. All in all… i would say that I liked it.
Bond is human, clever and resourceful.
Oh BTW! I liked the trailer for Star Trek! I can’t wait to see it.

I just got myself a PowerShot A1000 IS camera from Canon. It’s a nice point-and-shoot camera with a good price and quality. For $150 dollars, you are paying for a 10 mega-pixel camera with a DIGIC III (used in SLR’s) chip. What I like about it, is that it uses non-proprietary AA Batteries. I always have problems with rechargeable batteries and the cold while snowboarding. I’ll be using this camera for snowboarding next weekend, while I get my Olympus Stylus 1030SW repaired. So stay tuned for these pics
I can’t wait to test this baby.
Other features that I liked include: Auto-rotate preview, Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, 30 fps video, and ... you’ll have to see for yourself.

I should be studying. Instead I am working on this site. I do this all the time. I am more productive when I am trying to avoid a task such as studying. The hard part is to switch the role: hate work and love studying. I remember the saying, “I put the PRO in Procrastination.“
On the side note, this site is not yet live to the public. There is still a lot to do and think about.

This is a test entry so I can see how this baby looks
while designing. What do you think? It’s coming along.

So this is my 4th redesign of this website. The first version involved a flat static html page all sliced up in Photoshop. The second design is built similar to previous one, but with more bang: some JavaScript and Flash! The Third, I added a Content Management System based on PHP called CuteNews . It was very cute. Dealing with it and customizing it’s code here and there has definitely showed me the power of PHP and a CMS. Cutenews is simple yet powerful news/blog management system that I would recommend to bloggers and news sites. Well, wait a second! This is about my friend EE, so without further word…here it comes!
For about a year and a half now, I’ve been working as a Web Developer at Looknorth, Inc where I’ve been introduced to working with Expression Engine! Ohhhhh! So, whats so good about Expression Engine? I know I know! Nothing is perfect. This CMS is so flexible that you can mold it to your self-definition of perfection. From creating custom variables, templates, fields, database, categories, ... you name it… Web 2.0 at its finest. I will try to stretch it’s capability.
